Wash Away Your Worries

Laundry Initiative for South Carolina - Supporting individuals and families experiencing housing instability

Program Overview

Wash Away Your Worries Laundry Initiative is a Triumph Collective program designed to support individuals and families in South Carolina who are experiencing housing instability. Whether transitioning between homes, staying with friends or family, or navigating temporary or unsheltered living, access to clean clothing can be an overlooked barrier to health, employment, education, and dignity.

Through monthly Laundry Meet-Ups, Triumph Collective provides preloaded laundry cards valued up to $75, based on household size, to help participants maintain reliable access to clean clothing in a supportive, community-centered environment.

Program Benefits

  • Up to $75 in laundry support every 30 days
  • Sliding scale amounts based on household size
  • In-person distribution at Triumph Collective Laundry Meet-Ups
  • No-cost, judgment-free assistance
  • Community connection & resource support available on-site

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be experiencing housing disparities (unhoused, couch-surfing, transitional housing, motel stays, or displaced)
  • Reside in South Carolina
